It is my sad duty to inform the passing of 24093636 LCpl Victor (Vic) Gingell, of the 1st Battalion of The Gloucestershire Regiment on the 15th May 2024. Vic served from 1966 – 1988 and was stationed in England, Northern Ireland, BAOR, Canada, Belize, Berlin, Denmark and Cyprus.

His service will be on Wednesday 19th June at Semington crematorium at 13:15 hrs, Devizes Road, Semington, Trowbridge, BA14 6HL. This will be followed by a wake at Chippenham Cricket Club, Hardenhuish Park, Bristol Road, Chippenham, SN15 1NH.

The family has asked for full association support, we are actively looking for a bugler and standard bearer. The County Chairman for Somerset is liaising with the family and will be attending on the day. Attendees would be very welcomed by the family.
