No More Parades/Service Notice:  

It is my sad duty to inform you that David Delroy Allen, younger brother of Ronnie, 1st Battalion the Gloucestershire Regiment, passed away at The Royal United Hospital, Bristol, after a short illness on the 17th of April 2025, aged 61 years.  

David's funeral service will be held on Thursday, 29th May 2025 at St Agnes Church, St Paul's, Bristol, BS2 9LL at 1100hrs.  This will be followed by a burial at Kingswood Remembrance Park, Grimsbury Road, Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 9SE at 1330hrs. Later, there will be a reception celebrating the life of David at The Rose Green Centre, 65 Gordon Road, Whitehall, Bristol, BS5 7DR.  

The County Chairman will be assisting the family at the Church Service, and former members of the Regiment are invited to attend all three events.  

The family has asked those attending to wear black with a pop of red, something small to honour the bold, loving man he was.  Donations on the day will go to the Royal British Legion.
