THE MEMORIAL
The Gloucestershire Regiment Memorial was unveiled on 25th September 2024 at the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA), marking the first formal national tribute to the Regiment’s 300-year history.
Although the county has individual memorials and houses the renowned Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, there has never been a comprehensive memorial celebrating the Regiment’s contributions from 1694 to 1994. Led by veterans and volunteers, the new memorial honours the regiment’s service to the Crown and country, offering lasting recognition on both national and international levels for future generations.
